Everything Cakes and More

I have a serious addiction to cakes and everything that comes with them! I have been baking and decorating cakes for almost 12 years now for all kinds of occassions! I like to make all kinds of confections with baking and candy making that I will post here too. I mostly create for family and friends but if you have someone or are someone who likes what you see and would like a specialty cake, I would be glad to help! Planes cake

Sept. 28th, 2013- I made this fun cake for my nephew's birthday. My little four year old was in love with it and convinced that it was really for him and not his cousin. Such a fun movie and a great cake! Who wouldn't want their own Dusty Crophopper on a cake!?!

Despicable Me

Sept. 3, 2013- This fun cake was for my niece's 5th birthday. The new Despicable Me 2 movie had just come out and she was in love with the minions!

Zebra Stripes

June 30th, 2013- This cake was for my daughters 9th birthday. She wanted zebra stripes and neon pink. I added the zebra lounging on the top just for kicks!

Neapolitan Cupcakes

 
June 16, 2013- This rockin' recipe came from the cookbook, "Your Cup of Cake" by Lizzy Early.
I picked up this little jem from the library after seeing it in a Deseret Book ad and wanted to see what it was all about. Turns our she has lots of fun flavor combinations, including this Neapolitan! Chocolate & vanilla cake with a strawberry buttercream frosting. Delish!
